Services we offer

First, reach out and let us know a bit about you and what's been happening. We'll get back to you promptly and briefly discuss the situation. From there, we'll decide if you're interested in an initial consultation. The free initial consultation is a time to meet, ideally in person at a neutral location, and have a more in-depth discussion about what you're experiencing, your desired outcome, etc. After the initial consultation, we encourage people to take their time considering if they want to move forward as we present potential solutions and paths toward healing. We will not ever pressure clients to take any action they are uncomfortable with, or do not agree to, ahead of time.

Each situation requiring spiritual attention is unique, and requires different levels of time, research, and effort. We will always be fully transparent about our recommendations and suggestions. Prior to any work, all parties must approve both the plan and fair payment. We always welcome hearing from clients afterwards to ensure all is well and generally recommend scheduling a check-in 4 to 6 weeks after the work is complete.

We do not believe in making an obscene profit from this work. We also value our own time, energy and expertise. Donations and trades for goods or services sustain Ritual Aid. They also cover pro bono cases that we take on for those who are not in a financial position to pay.

We work closely with all of our clients to find a form of payment that respects all parties, including none at all. As a practice, we discuss this during the initial consultation. Suggested payment is based on the amount of effort related to any given case. A pet haunting, for example, is relatively straightforward and would not require historical research or an extensive time commitment. A dark energy that may require in-depth research and rituals, however, is a different circumstance. Each case is unique, and we meet clients where they are at.

We are committed to full confidentiality toward everyone we meet, whether they become a client or not, into perpetuity. As a practice, Tori and Jude do not speak about this work with anyone else; they understand the stigma of even engaging in conversations related to the occult and have no interest in debasing their craft and jeopardizing its effectiveness by speaking about it inappropriately with anyone not involved.

Additionally, there isn’t anything too “weird” or “out there” to discuss. We promise to show up with respect, a commitment to confidentiality, and deep curiosity. We listen without judgement, assess the situation, and discuss possible solutions and the associated pros and cons. Then, after all options have been discussed and communicated, we decide if and how to move forward. We do not prescribe timelines, have hidden fees, or pull other such hijinks. We are fully committed to transparency and clarity throughout the process, and our services include follow-up check-ins to ensure all is well after a case wraps up.

Jude holds an MA and PhD in Religious Studies and a BA in Theology & Religious Studies and Asian Studies. He draws on traditions of Tibetan Buddhism, Cyprianic magic, folk Catholicism, and other traditions informed by his ancestry and connection to place. He has a life-long interest in religion and spirituality. He works as a scholar, teacher, and translator for a living.

He is experienced in helping people with a host of spiritual needs. He specializes in ritual magic, protection & reversal magic, dealing with ghosts and malevolent spirits, and divination. He has officiated at weddings and funerals, and has helped people craft meaningful healing and memorial rituals, as well as rites of passage. 

Tori comes to this work mainly through praxis. Having had extrasensory experiences as a child, she's since honed her skills to commune with those who have passed on. Tori stresses, however, that these encounters must be allowed to unfold on the spirits' terms rather than by demand.

Like Jude, Tori attended Catholic School from Kindergarten through high school (although Jude also attended Catholic institutions in college), thus both draw on the traditions of Old, Mystical Catholicism. Tori specializes in candle magic, ritual magic, cleansings, blessings, hauntings, and, if they're amenable to it, communing with the deceased to facilitate conversation and healing. Tori and Jude have also helped spirits pass on.
